In the Golan heights above the see of Galilee there is a remarkable unique site , it is called the Israeli Stonehedge or rugum-el-hiri in arabic, it is supposed to be the bible time Gilgal site.

This site can be reached only by jeep or by foot , it is best to walk the 6 km path and go like in a time machine to ancient times.
