We are a couple from Hong Kong.  This was our first time to Israel and Alon was the first nice guide we met in Israel.  He had been a nice gentleman to us.  The drive around Galilee was a very enjoyable trip.  We had been to biblical sites like Mt. of Beatitudes, Church of Multiplication, Church of St. Peter Primacy, Capernaun where Jesus lived and preached, Yardenit where Jesus got baptised, and we also went around the Sea of Galilee.  We had a lot of freedom of doing what we liked and going to where we wanted.  Alon talked to us the living in Galilee and gave us a lot of information that we had a real good time with him.  We had a good long conversation on the religion, his biology studies, people and history of Israel, his family.....  By the end of the trip, he seemed to be our friend rather than our guide!

 

It's definitely our regret that we couldn't arrange time to make a visit to him and meet his children.  We'll remember the home-made tea, that's really the best tea we had ever taken in Middle East.  We appreciated more on his kindness and idea of this preparation.  The whole trip meant much more than a tour.  Packages could include events and sites, but not happy moments.  Now this is guaranteed, at least we had.  I wish I can plan another trip hiking with him, staying in his home in Israel.
